Our goal was to create a brand identity system for the new culinary brand of frozen food. The proposed system was to reflect the new brand positioning which is the underlying ingredient of the delicious daily meals that make people gather round the table, tighten the human ties and create a pleasant and casual atmosphere.
Iglotex operated as the mainstream brand of a producer with an ample offer of frozen food. The decision to launch the Simple Stories was the direct consequence of the company’s ambition to expand and build a strong consumer brand.
The proposed system was to reflect the new brand positioning which is the underlying ingredient of the delicious daily meals that make people gather round the table, tighten the human ties and create a pleasant and casual atmosphere.
The job comprised packaging designs for 6 different categories (85 SKUs altogether). Each of them was colour-coded to make it easier for the consumer to navigate, and to secure the required level of recognisability.
The panel with three distinctive pieces of information i.e. the brand, category and product names became the most important visual element.
For the sake of the project, photos of appetizing dishes in a friendly setting are to reflect the idea of the modern nature kitchen.
The background drawings introduce a touch of freehand and underline the fact that the Simple Stories are the ingredients for the consumer to prepare a meal on their own. In addition, there are some recipes at the back of each packaging showing how the frozen food can be used to prepare simple and creative meals.
