Our underlying design assumption was to place the line just in that category while keeping the nature of the Bonduelle brand.

Bonduelle is the leader in its category in terms of quality. Still, the brand’s mission is not only to maintain high quality, but also to provide consumers with inspiration for culinary pursuits. Hence the idea to create a new line of products intended for hot dishes. They are carefully selected from the appertized vegetables which have already been on offer, and come with a ready sauce seasoned according to the recipe typical of the given product.

As the line “Hot Dishes” is available in cans and jars, it is positioned closer to ready dishes. The underlying design assumption for Czteryczwarte was to place the line just in that category while keeping the nature of the Bonduelle brand.

Apart from highlighting its taste qualities, it was essential to communicate what the product is for. So the main graphic element is the very dish in a plate with ornaments relating to the features of the dish. Setting the design in the home context – with a spoon, a relevant background, a notebook with a recipe on the back of the label – jazzes up the design.
 
What we wanted to show was the fact that Bonduelle does not provide a ready dinner solution within this line, but first and foremost it offers a base for preparing an individual dish in one’s own way.
